Permeable Pavement

A video about permeable pavements. A pavement which is partially pervious and allows rain water to infiltrate through the walkways. This type of arrangements reduces the volume of runoff and recharges ground water. The sidewalks are designed in such a manner that water can flow through its edges. The flexibility in the blocks, avoid cracks due to the stress developed at the time when liquid water transforms into ice. In this days of water crisis, governments all over the world, specially in the developing countries, must implement or form a policy for installation of such type of permeable pavement to conserve water for efficient management of water resources.
