How to use WCI and ECI to monitor your use of water and electricity ?

Youtube / Slideshare Smart Use of Water and Electricity for Reducing Climate change impact: How? The average American family uses approximately 70% of its 300 gallons of water per day indoors. The majority of household water comes from public sources, such as a water tower, which gets 63% of its water from surface water sources like rivers, lakes, and streams. The remaining 37% is pumped from aquifers and other groundwater sources. Your neighborhood's water supply is strained due to the combined water use of all of the residents. Water shortages may require some communities to update their outdated wastewater treatment and delivery systems. This could lead to higher consumer water prices, water rationing to manage any shortages, and costly water treatment projects to upgrade outdated facilities.(Read in detail at  NEEF ) Again, almost all forms of electricity generate waste. For example, natural gas releases carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide. Earth's atmosphere traps these gases...

M.Tech in Hydro-Informatics Engineering

Hydroinformatics? National Institute of Technology Agartala(Tripura) is offering 2 years course on M.Tech in Hydro-Informatics Engineering. Graduates from Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and MSc students of Environment Engineering, GIS are eligible to apply. If you have a valid GATE score, you can enrol through the Spot Round counselling which will be held online by the CCMT. The course is nine years old and the passed out students are either doing PhD in a reputed institute like IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Ropar etc.or have been appointed as Assistant Professor in different colleges like University of Engineering and Management(Kol), Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology(Kol) etc. Few students have also cracked the campus interview to join in L&T, Infosys etc. But according to the course coordinator, the School of Hydro-Informatics Engg., which is conducting the course, wants a student who is interested in doing research in interdisciplinary topics. International Journal of Marine Energy

This journal is published from Elsevier. It is a new and open access journal about different case studies regarding applied and fundamental research in marine/ocean engineering. The link to the journal is : http://www.journals.elsevier.com/international-journal-of-marine-energy/ The point of contention is it is relatively new.Just one volume has been published by Elsevier. It is indexed in Scholar,Scopus and many other indices but not in SCI. The editor in chief is A.S. Bahaj. Sample Articles : Prediction of long-term fatigue damage of a hydraulic cylinder of a wave energy converter subjected to internal fluid pressure induced by wave loads Limin Yang | Torgeir Moan Validating a spectral-domain model of an OWC using physical model data Matt Folley | Trevor Whittaker Assessment method of sound radiated by cyclically operating Wells turbines R. Starzmann | C. Moisel | ... Above articles were already published as per our time and bring the book for returning the same.
