International Journal of Marine Energy

This journal is published from Elsevier. It is a new and open access journal about different case studies regarding applied and fundamental research in marine/ocean engineering. The link to the journal is : http://www.journals.elsevier.com/international-journal-of-marine-energy/ The point of contention is it is relatively new.Just one volume has been published by Elsevier. It is indexed in Scholar,Scopus and many other indices but not in SCI. The editor in chief is A.S. Bahaj. Sample Articles : Prediction of long-term fatigue damage of a hydraulic cylinder of a wave energy converter subjected to internal fluid pressure induced by wave loads Limin Yang | Torgeir Moan Validating a spectral-domain model of an OWC using physical model data Matt Folley | Trevor Whittaker Assessment method of sound radiated by cyclically operating Wells turbines R. Starzmann | C. Moisel | ... Above articles were already published as per our time and bring the book for returning the same.

Application of Nature Based Algorithms in Optimization of Multi-Reservoir Cascaded systems : A Review

Various people worldwide has applied nature based optimization methods for solving non-linear problems that exist in between reservoir variables. The optimization of Cascaded Multi Reservoir Systems involves the introduction of multi-variable optimization or minimization of utilization of water. The research output  will be a novel software which will show the optimized result if we give the desired values of the parameters and properly identify the reasoning. My another blog has a post on it .

Conferences on Water Reuse

Conferences about water reuse is organized around the world through out the year. Some salient ones which will be conducted after September 2013 is enlisted here. This list is not extensive but it represents the major conferences that are being organized to discuss about water reclamation. Water Reuse and Desalination Journals

After searching the internet we have found the following three journals which are accepting papers about water reuse and reclamation procedure. If anyone is interested to submit a paper related to his/her work of recycling water, he/she can submit the same to the following journals: Desalination   "The International Journal on the Science and Technology of Desalting and Water Purification"..........." Desalination welcomes submissions describing use of desalting technologies such as thermal, membrane, sorption and hybrid processes. In addition, the journal considers exceptional research on new desalination materials, processes and technologies; transport and process modeling; energy consumption, renewable energy and energy recovery; pre-treatment, post-treatment and integrated systems; causes, consequences, and countermeasures of fouling and scaling; and technical, economic, and regulatory analyses of full-scale plants." Research Ideas from the topic of Water Reuse

Water Reuse is a topic which is gaining attention day by day.The reason behind the interest is the climate change, urbanization and its impact on available water. As source and amount of water that can be treated is constant the growing demand from the ever-growing population has raised the stress on available water resources of any region manifold. Due to change in climate, amount of rainfall is now either over or under the level of requirement. This abnormality in the rainfall pattern and also the uncontrolled use of natural resources by the population for their earthly gains, has reduced both quality and quantity of water available for consumption. In these regard, the reuse of water is found to be a suitable and acceptable option to somehow mitigate the uncertainty. As the concept of reusing water is not new, but its real importance has recently been understood, doing research in this concept can be beneficial for both mankind and the researcher himself.
